Gram by gram, the almond is the most nutritious nut at all.
One serving of almonds (about 30 g, which is equivalent to a handful) has only approx. 164 calories. The almond is very rich in flavonoids and is also an excellent source of vitamin E and magnesium. Almonds are packed with both protein and healthy dietary fiber. In addition, almonds contain monounsaturated fatty acids as well as potassium, lime, phosphorus and iron.
Almonds are also a supplier of many good antioxidants. Just a single handful of almonds contain 3/4 of the recommended daily vitamin E intake! Almonds have a proven positive effect on cholesterol levels and help reduce the risk of heart attack.
Example of recipe with MANDLER:
200 g almonds
2 dl water
3 tbsp. fine salt
1 tbsp. Butter
Course of action:
Put the almonds in a bowl and pour them with the water. Add salt with stirring and stir until the salt is dissolved.
Place the almonds on the kitchen table for approx. 15 min. Let the almonds drip into a sieve.
Distribute them on a sheet of baking paper with the butter.
Bake the almonds in the middle of the oven at 150 ° for 20 minutes, turning the almonds 2-3 times when the butter is melted.
Let the salted almonds cool on a baking dish with baking paper.
